First Institutional Quality Circle (IQC)

The 1st meeting of the Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Institutional Quality Circle (IQC), chaired by Vice chancellor Prof. Dr. Mazhar Ayaz, was held on January 22, 2026, in the Syndicate Room. The purpose of the meeting was to promote academic excellence and ensure adherence to the highest standards in higher education.
The Director of Quality Assurance briefed IQC members on the Higher Education Commission’s (HEC) revamped Quality Assurance framework, Pakistan Precepts, Standards, and Guidelines (PSG-2023). The components of PSG-2023, including the Review of Institutional Performance and Enhancement (RIPE), Program Review for Effectiveness and Enhancement (PREE) and Judgmental frameworks, were thoroughly discussed.
The Director also highlighted the annual targets assigned by HEC’s Quality Assurance Agency and the IQC assured to implement quality education culture under HEC quality assurance guide lines and meeting was concluded with a vote of thanks to the Chair.
