BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Irfan Baboo, is Assistant Professor (BPS) in the Department of Zoology, Faculty of Bio-Sciences, Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bahawalpur–Pakistan. He has completed his B.Sc. (Zoology, Botany and Chemistry) in 2005 from University of the Punjab and M.Sc. (Zoology) 2008 from University of the Punjab Lahore–Pakistan. He did MPhil (wildlife and Ecology) from University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore.  Dr. Irfan Baboo has earned PhD (wildlife and Ecology) in 2016 from University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore. In his Doctorate studies, he has worked on Welfare Assessment of Wild Turkey (Meleagris Gallopavo) subjected to free-range, Semi-Intensive and Confinement rearing systems. He has written five peer reviewed research papers from his PhD thesis and published in national and international well-known scientific journals with good impact factor. In his area of interest, he has also completed one research projects Welfare Assessment of Grey Partridge (Perdix predix) in Semi-Intenstive and Confinement Rearing Systems” Under University Faculty Startup Research Grant Program funded by HEC.
