Biography

Dr. Muhammad Khalid Mehmood is a distinguished researcher and IT professional with a PhD in Computer Science, specializing in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, and Smart Infrastructure Systems. With over twenty-five years of experience in Information Technology, Telecommunications, and higher education, he has led numerous digital transformation and smart campus initiatives aligned with Smart City frameworks. His expertise spans AI integration, IoT-based automation, and secure cloud infrastructure for institutional governance. In addition, Dr. Mehmood brings extensive experience as an IT and Technical Support Specialist, proficient in system installation, troubleshooting, and network management. Renowned for his leadership and mentoring skills, he has successfully trained teams, enhanced IT operations, and ensured robust, reliable, and intelligent digital services within academic environments.
