Biography
Dr. Kashif Prince is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, and Secretary to Vice Chancellor in Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bahawalpur. He completed his DVM from the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore 2012. He won the HEC scholarship for a PhD and completed his PhD from the same institute in 2018. In 2017 he was selected by HEC for the International Research Support Initiative Program (IRSIP) and did 6 months of research at the World’s Second-ranked Cornell University. His PhD research is in humoral immune response in large ruminants. During his stay at Cornell University, he performed various duties like planning and development of research plan and their execution. The main research area was to develop a subunit vaccine against various bacterial pathogens.
Since his joining CUVAS, Bahawalpur he has been associated with various academic activities like teaching, research and Clinical practice. He is an expert in Small and large Ruminant internal medicine and a vast experience in Dairy farming and management. As Secretary to the Vice Chancellor, he performs various administrative and managemental tasks.
