Biography

Dr. Zahid Manzoor is serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Faculty of Bio-Sciences, Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (CUVAS), Bahawalpur, Pakistan. He completed his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and M.Phil. with distinction from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, and earned his PhD in Pharmacology from Al-Nafees Medical College, Isra University, Islamabad. His doctoral research focused on the pharmacokinetic behaviour of danofloxacin in domestic ruminants and the application of advanced PK/PD modelling and simulation for rational dosage regimen design.
Dr. Manzoor has developed a strong academic and research profile in pharmacology, toxicology, medicinal plants, pharmacokinetics, PK/PD modelling, clinical pharmacology, molecular pharmacology, network pharmacology, and molecular docking. His research combines conventional pharmacological sciences with modern computational and analytical approaches for drug discovery, therapeutic evaluation, and natural product-based investigations.
He is actively involved in undergraduate teaching and in the supervision of M.Phil. and PhD scholars in the areas of pharmacology and toxicology. His academic contributions include classroom teaching, research mentoring, and the advancement of interdisciplinary biomedical and veterinary pharmacology research.

Teaching and Supervision

Dr. Zahid Manzoor is engaged in undergraduate teaching and postgraduate supervision in pharmacology and toxicology. He contributes to academic instruction, student mentoring, and the supervision of research scholars at CUVAS.
