Biography

Muhammad Tahir Khan is a Lecturer in the Department of Poultry Science, Faculty of Animal Production and Technology, Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (CUVAS), Bahawalpur, Pakistan since November 29, 2018. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 2013, MPhil Poultry Production in 2015, and PhD Poultry Production in 2019 at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore, Pakistan. In his doctorate studies, he worked on “Preparation and nutritional evaluation of poultry farm litter and dead birds compost for use in poultry feed”. Before joining the CUVAS, Dr. Khan worked as Research Associate for more than three years (23-11-2015 to 27-11-2018) at the Department of Poultry Production, UVAS in a PARB funded research project entitled “Utilization of poultry farm litter and dead birds compost as livestock feed ingredient and agriculture fertilizer”. In addition to that, from 2016 to date, he has published 47 research articles, 36 in international journals and 11 in national journals. Moreover, he is also a reviewer of some important international journals including “Poultry Science”, and “Journal of Applied Poultry Research”.
