Biography:
Rameez Abid is a proficient veterinarian. He graduated from country’s top veterinary university, ‘University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore’ in 2012. He earned Master of Philosophy (Livestock Management) from the same institute in 2014. Rameez worked at a commercial dairy farm of imported Holstein Friesian cattle as vet doctor for ten and half months under Profarm Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd. There, he got a hand on experience of feed formulation, health management, breeding plans, vaccination plan, labor management, major surgeries and herd record software’s. He had worked as lecturer at Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan from Sep 2015 till Nov 2018. He is working as Lecturer in Livestock Management at Cholistan University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Bahawalpur from Nov 2018 till date. He has a future goal to become a leading livestock researcher. He has an objective to take the education and research experience from a developed country to cope up with modern livestock challenges. He has managerial, professional and research skills. He is creative, ambitious, team player, diligent and has an excellent judgment. He is trying to overcome some weaknesses like over trust.
