Important Information Admission

TO CONSIDER THE RESULT OF DIPLOMA OF ASSOCIATE ENGINEERING (DAE) FOR THE BBA DEGREE PROGRAMS
The Committee discussed the matter in detail and after consideration, it was decided that the result of first two years (60% of 1st & 2nd year marks combined) of the Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) will be considered for the intake in BBA 4 years Degree Program. Matriculation percentage will be weighted as 40% as in other undergraduate degree programs.
- ADOPTION OF FEE REFUND POLICY AND FEE ADJUSTMENT
The Committee, after detailed discussion decided that the Fee will be refunded as per adopted policy guidelines of the Higher Education Commission. The Committee further decided that fee will never be transferred from one Degree Program to another Degree Program. However, the applicant/student may deposit the fee in his/her desired degree program and apply for the fee refund against his/her other opted Degree Program, if any.
- TO DECIDE THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FROM APPLICANTS REGARDING APPROVED QUOTAS OF UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMS
After discussion the Committee decided that following documents will be submitted by the applicants:
- Industrialist’s Son Quota:
The applicant parent’s industry must be related to the desired program, as determined by the Dean concerned. The industry must be registered with a chamber of commerce as well as with the Federal Board of Revenue (documented evidence must be attached with an application form). The applicant shall provide an evidence of the ownership/share of parents in the company deed agreement. Eligibility of candidates seeking admission on Industrialist quota, shall be determined by Industrialist Quota Committee, constituted by the Vice-Chancellor in this regard. The application should be complete in all respects and accompanied by the required certificates and documents and shall undertake to abide by all Statues, Regulations and Rules framed and instructions issued by the University.
- Veterinarian Son
Candidates applying on Veterinarian child quota shall provide an attested copy of the degree of graduation (parents) in Veterinary/Animal Husbandry (DVM/Animal Husbandry/Animal Sciences/Poultry Science/Dairy Science etc.).
- Cholistan Quota
Candidates applying on the Cholistan quota shall provide a Permanent Residential Certificate from Cholistan Development Authority (CDA). At the time of admission, the Admission Committee will request CDA to provide the list of recommended candidates for the said quota in CUVAS.
- Disable Quota
Disability Certificate from the Medical Assessing Board of the concerned District & recommendations of the University Medical Board/Senior Medical Officer/Disable Quota Committee, constituted by the Vice-Chancellor will be considered final for the admission on above quota.
- Sports Quota
Applicants have to provide a certificate at District/BISE level in the relevant game to apply on Sports quota. Trials will be conducted by the Sports Trial Committee constituted by the Vice-Chancellor and Admission shall be granted on merit, to be determined by the Sports Trial Committee. The decision made by the committee will be considered as final and shall not be challenged.
- MINIMUM NUMBER OF STUDENTS To START BSCS & BBA PROGRAM
The Admission Committee after discussion decided that the minimum number of seats to start a class of BSCS is hundred (100) students & BBA is 50 students. Vice Chancellor may however, relax these number depending on the number of candidates applying for the program.
- 5th semester Intake
Associate Degree from HEC recognised Universities, issued by Controller office will only be applicable for admission in 5th semester.
- Conversion of vacant seats in quotas.
After the 3rd Merit list, University has the right to convert all vacant seats in different quotas to Open Merit.
- All admissions in doctor of veterinary medicine degree programs will be subject to the approval of Pakistan Veterinary medical council.
- All admission applications must be submitted online. Applications submitted after 4 p.m. on the final submission day will not be considered for the merit lists.
