Academic & Research Profile Dr. Irfan Baboo has been serving as an Assistant Professor in Government Universities since 2016 and is an HEC Approved PhD Supervisor. His research encompasses wildlife ecology and conservation, animal behaviour and welfare, poultry science, animal nutrition, environmental toxicology, nanoemulsions, medicinal plants, biodiversity, fisheries, and applied biological sciences. His doctoral research focused on welfare assessment of wild turkeys under different rearing systems, while his M.Phil. research investigated the ecology and population of birds of Changa Manga Forest, Pakistan. Research Publications The 56 research publications/academic contributions, with publications in national and international journals. Recent research includes work published in Research in Veterinary Science (Elsevier), Poultry Science (Elsevier), Animals, Biology, Frontiers in Veterinary Science, PLOS ONE, Fermentation, Journal of Animal and Plant Sciences, Pakistan Journal of Zoology, and other peer-reviewed journals. Major research themes include nanoemulsions as antimicrobial and growth-promoting agents, Moringa-based mitigation of pesticide toxicity, poultry nutrition, animal behaviour, wildlife conservation, environmental toxicology, and biodiversity.
