Research interests

My research interests are centered on sustainable ecosystem management and climate resilience. He focuses on understanding the drivers of deforestation vegetation dynamics in arid rangelands and the impact of pastoral settlements on biodiversity. A proponent of integrating local wisdom with scientific methods his work explores "Traditional Ecological Knowledge" (TEK) to monitor rangeland health. Additionally I investigates carbon sequestration in urban parks and the socio-economic implications of climate change on rural and pastoral communities. Through My numerous publications in high-impact journals I continue to advance strategies for Rangeland Rehabilitation and sustainable livestock economies in southern Punjab and beyond.
