Biography

Mr. Muhammad Arif Rizwan is a young Lecturer in the Institute of Continuing Education & Extension since 2018. He secured DVM in 2014 with distinction. He pursued his M.Phil in subject of Clinical Medicine (UVAS) under the supervision of Dr. Waseem Yaqub. His work during M.Phil was on “Serodetection of antibodies for mycobacterium avium sub-specie paratuberculosis in sheep population along with its associated risk factors in District Rahim Yar Khan”. He started his carrier as a Lecturer at Riphah College of Veterinary Sciences, Lahore sub campus Riphah International University, Islamabad. Then he joined Livestock & Dairy Development Department Punjab as Veterinary Officer and served there about 2.5 years. He is member of Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council (PVMC). He has the specialties in small and large animal medicine, diagnosis treatment and pain management. His main responsibilities are teaching of Veterinary Medicine, Clinical Case Handling, Research and Extension services. He has the vision for the ICE&E to develop a state of  modern techniques to treat small and large animal animals problems on country level to enhance animal’s survival and promote Veterinary Medicine & Extension services in Pakistan.

Diagnosis and treatment of Livestock species, particularly Cattle, Buffalo, Horses and Pets
